OAN takes part in the 2026 campaign plan workshop for shea butter

OAN Nikki has taken part in the workshop to develop the 2026 campaign plan for the shea butter sector in Benin.

Our participation was carried out by Mireille as Coordinator of the Nikarit Project and by Kader as President of OAN Nikki. The workshop, to which we were invited by ATDA 3 (Agence Territoriale de Développement Agricole pôle 3), was a unique and enriching experience. Taking part in a genuine exchange of ideas with key players in the sector allowed us to be at the center of the discussions and decisions that will shape the future of a sector that is very close to our hearts.

Since 2014, OAN has worked alongside the women of our communities to promote shea butter and empower them economically.

Knowing that our voices and contributions are now taken into account on the same level as our fieldwork motivates us even more to continue our efforts for the economic and social development of the women of Nikarit.
